Visiting and presentation of CE.S.I.E (Centro Studi ed Iniziative Europee, http://www.cesie.org/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=145&Itemid=135, link to conceptualized method)
CE.S.I.E. is a non-profit organisation, founded in 2001 and mainly run by youngsters. It is engaged in intercultural dialogue, fight against discrimination and concerned with Gender issues promoting the method of Danilo Dolci, an Italian pacifist, who arrived in Sicily in the 50’s and had a very important role in the struggle against the Mafia. His work was characterised by the use of non-violent methods, such as hunger-strikes, reverse strikes 1 and the reciprocal maieutic 2 method, which promotes the exchange of ideas among the members of a group in order to develop common solutions. After the general presentation the maieutic method was introduce as one method which initiates real communication, which is an auto-analytical instrument and is be enhanced by self estimation. |
